(Morrisville, N.C.) Montie Design, an innovative concept-to-marketplace product design and development firm, recently hosted a successful Lunch and Learn event featuring accomplished engineering firm EPEC Technologies. Attendees gained valuable insight into flex circuit design, a reliable and malleable approach to inter-connecting electronics which is quickly replacing conventional printed circuitry with a myriad of new product design applications.
“The event went very well,” said Montie Design President Montie Roland. “The speaker (Paul Tome) did an early survey of the attendees and used their existing knowledge base and experience as a starting point for the presentation.
“Because the audience was fairly well versed in the subject matter he was able to really dig and cover detailed topics and answer very specific questions,” Roland explained.
Tome, boasting 15 years of experience design flex circuits, is the Flex Circuit Product Manager for Epec Engineered Technologies (www.epectec.com). Epec is one of North America’s leading PCB and built-to-print product companies and has built one of the industry’s leading global supply chain and engineering platforms.
This recent Montie Design Lunch and Learn was the latest in a string of educational outreach efforts to area engineering, product design and manufacturing professionals. For more information on Montie Design, visit www.montie.com.
