(Morrisville, N.C.) Hybrid
alternative energy solutions provider INI Power Systems, Inc. recently garnered high-profile coverage in the Raleigh News & Observer, the daily newspaper of record for North Carolina's state capital with a circulation of 134,000+, and
its affiliated suburban editions. The feature story on INI Power's
innovative new Trinity™ series of portable alternative energy solutions
included full-color photos of INI Power staff and the Trinity™ system,
and highlighted growing interest in the units from first-responder and
defense prospects as well as the U.S. Army’s plan to test them at Ft.
Belvoir in Virginia.
The
article was written after multiple press releases containing strategic
messaging were sent to the newspaper's technology beat reporter,
highlighting details which would be of interest to N&O
readers. Ongoing media relations follow-up from Global Media Strategies
(GMS) further developed the story based on the reporter's needs. Once
interest in an article was secured, GMS worked with INI Power and the
reporter to coordinate a preliminary phone interview and, eventually, a
convenient site visit which included further interviews and a photo
shoot.
Plans
to leverage the coverage include marketing outreach to prospects,
customers, and other affiliated stakeholders of INI Power, as well as
media relations work with national defense and first-responder industry
publications as well as mainstream news organizations. The direct
marketing and further media coverage will be coordinated to support
timely business development efforts at INI Power Systems.
