(Cary, N.C.) A new, free business education series is being launched June 26 in Cary featuring rare access to a panel of local experts helping attendees understand the opportunities, issues, and realities of pursuing funding to grow their businesses. “Growing and Financing Your Business – Reasonable Expectations and Real World Requirements” is the inaugural workshop presented by Triangle Business Mentors, featuring Scott Mackey of Fidelity Bank; Chris Duffus, CPA; attorney Bill Peaslee; and international strategic business consultant and noted author Lea Strickland, MBA/CMA/CFM/CBM.
“Our group wanted to ensure diversity in all the necessary areas to focus on in order to successfully grow a business,” Strickland said.
According to Strickland, many times business owners only have access to one point of contact for counsel on essential business infrastructure issues. Attendees at the Triangle Business Mentors workshop will be able to hear a wide-range of informed opinions on what goes into banks' lending decisions; understanding important legal agreements related to financing; gaining real world results in financing growth; and what role value-added decision making has in running a successful business.
There is no cost to attend the inaugural workshop in the series, with limited seating available. The event will be held at Fidelity Bank on Chatham Street Cary from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. For information email events@focusresourcesinc.com to register go to www.focusresourcesinc.com and click on Register for Event. Seating is limited to 30.
