Montie Gear Debuts Hunter's Friend

TROUBLESOME GAP, N.C. -- Montie Gear, providing heirloom-quality products that are Troublesome Gap tough, has debuted a new edition to its popular hunting and camping lineup, the Hunter’s Friend equipment stand. The lightweight Hunter’s Friend easily attaches to a tree stand or blind, holding a bow or rifle right in front of the shooter close to shooting position, ready for action in one short, swift motion. “If you’re up in a tree stand, there’s really nowhere to put your rifle or bow, and many hunters end up leaning it against the tree stand rail of holding it their lap. Neither position is great because of fatigue when holding it in your lap and both require a lot of motion to bring the bow to bear,” Montie Roland, company president, said, adding, “The Hunter’s Friend fixes all that.” The Hunter’s Friend provides multiple spaces for hanging additional gear like binoculars and straps onto hte tree so it hanging over either shoulder. This places the bow (or rifle) in front of the hunter, ready for action; just grab the bow, rotate into position and draw.


Turning a knob breaks-down the Hunter’s Friend to approximately 1/2 its open length for easy transport.  Since it only weights 1.1 lbs it won't slow anyone down on the trail.
