ROXBORO, N.C. -- Entertainment facility solutions provider CenterEdge Software (www.centeredgesoftware.com)
recently completed its first ticketing and capacity management system
installation in Mexico. The company finished the week-long on-site
installation for Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park -- creator of the
world's first all-trampoline, walled playing court -- in February, with
the facility going live March 3 in Naucalpan, a suburb of Mexico City.
"This was our first site install in Mexico so there were some initial
challenges related to adapting our software solutions to handle Mexican
addresses, credit card processors, and taxes," said Marcus Mayer,
CenterEdge Software director of operations.
The
CenterEdge team included a Spanish-speaking staffer who helped with
training on the waiver kiosk, individual and group point-of-sale, and
capacity management solutions.
"We've done installations before
in new facilities like this one while they are still under construction.
It is always somewhat of a frantic environment when you're training
staff around construction with its noise and intermittent access to
power sources," Mayer said, adding, "Our team is flexible and able to
adjust to changing on-site conditions."
Capacity-based sales are
a major focus of Sky Zone, which is nearing 60 locations in the U.S.,
Canada, and now Mexico. CenterEdge Software has provided services to
multiple Sky Zone locations through the years, in addition to other
trampoline park clients who need proven effective ways to easily
schedule jump times with capacity management, manage online ticket sales
and birthday reservations, and provide reliable liability waiver
options.
"CenterEdge has been a great partner of ours for over 5
years now. They were very helpful in making the transition into another
country as smooth as possible," said Sky Zone CEO Jeff Platt.
Sky Zone was recently featured on the hit CBS show “Undercover Boss” on March 14.
Most
trampoline park facilities incorporate thick layers of padding around a
large grid of trampolines of up to 10,000 square feet and can host
hundreds of users in any given day, whether they be individuals,
families, groups or events.
"Trampoline parks are far and away the number one growth sector we’re seeing in the amusements industry," Mayer explained.
Since
2004 CenterEdge Software has been redefining the successful operation
of family entertainment centers across the U.S. and internationally with

solutions helps FECs attract guests and their entertainment dollars,
