Growing Demand for Reliable Fingerprint Biometrics Products Driving Event Participation, Online Enhancements for Industry Leader

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Integrated Biometrics, LLC, the world’s innovator in light emitting sensor (LES) film technology, is contributing best practices in mobile electronic fingerprint enrollment and verification at several major conferences in coming months. Additionally, the company has published French and Spanish versions of its popular IntegratedBiometrics.com website to further share its expertise in producing the most compact, lightweight and energy-efficient FBI-certified fingerprint scanners in the world.

“The demand for reliable fingerprint biometrics products continues to grow across the globe, which is driving our development of our multi-lingual website and outreach at industry events with strong international presence,” Integrated Biometrics Vice President David Gerulski said.

Interest from Spanish speaking countries and African nations with French language ties continues to be so strong that the company needed to invest in website translations to support the different languages, Gerulski explained.

Latin America and Africa are just two of the many regions outside the U.S. where the company is actively selling its portfolio of commercial and FBI-certified scanners including the Kojak FAP 60 10-print roll scanner; Watson Mini FAP 45 two-finger roll scanner; Sherlock FAP 45 two-finger roll scanner; and Columbo FAP 30 single-finger scanner.

Border security and law enforcement continue to be strong fits for Integrated Biometrics products, Gerulski said, along with voter registration, healthcare and finance.

Martin Petriccione, Integrated Biometrics VP Biometrics Industry Advisor, will be leading the team at 101st International Association for Identification in Cincinnati, Ohio August 7-13, NEC’s 30th Annual AFIS Internet User's Conference in Atlanta, GA August 28-31, as well as the Global Identity Summit September 19-22 in Tampa, Florida.

One of the company’s products, the Watson Mini, was recently featured on the popular Coroner Talk podcast on iTunes. The July 18 show featured an in-depth interview with Kathleen Erickson, CEO of WoVo Identity Solutions and Harris Neil, an investigator with the Denver, Colo. coroner’s office, who spoke to the benefits of the Watson Mini and mobile biometrics technology in the forensics world.

The Watson Mini was also recently featured in U.S. and international television news reports including CBS This Morning.

All Integrated Biometrics products utilize the company’s innovative LES film, the only biometric technology that can meet the stringent image performance requirements of the FBI in a “thin” form factor (less than 1 mm thick). Whether integrating with smartphones, tablets, or other mobile solutions, LES fuels the smallest and lightest forensic quality roll scanners available in the market today, 90-95 percent smaller and lighter than optical scanners.
