Hertz Global EV and its partner Evatran are showcasing the first wireless charging system for electric vehicles (EVs) in the car rental industry this week at the New York Auto Show taking place at the Jacob Javits Center. The first car rental company to introduce EVs on three continents, Hertz is on the ground floor of Plugless Power EV recharging technology and the Company’s goal is offer customers the cutting edge in EVs and recharging options. The Plugless Power trial, the first of its kind in the world, will help to establish the U.S. as the EV market leader. The trial will follow Hertz, and leaders from other industries, as it trials the Plugless Power system.
