OBX Outfitters Celebrating Raleigh, Outer Banks Bluegrass Festivals

MANTEO & APEX, N.C.--OBX Outfitters, helping people celebrate the pure joy of the Outer Banks, is marking upcoming bluegrass events in Raleigh and the Outer Banks by offering the popular Bluegrass At The Beach t-shirt for $15. Details and photos of the soft, comfortable, made-in-the-USA shirt for men and women is available at www.outerbanksbluegrass.com. The Bluegrass At The Beach shirt features a banjo and sling-back beach chair, and was designed by Raleigh artist Josh Davis, who splits time between drawing and painting and teaching art history to high school students. OBX Outfitters debuted this design at the inaugural Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival in October 2012, which featured 17 bands including Drymill Road, Banjo Island, Drifting Sands, Stoney Creek, The Hickory Projects, Nu-Blue, Stacy Grubb & Clay Hess, The Whiskey Rebellion, Gary "Biscuit" Davis, Cumberland River Band, The Sleepy May Banjo Boys, The Hillbilly Gypsies, Nothin' Fancy, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and Rhonda Vincent & the Rage. The second annual Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival is scheduled for this coming October 4-6 on Roanoke Island in OBX. More information is available online at www.bluegrassisland.com.

In addition to the Outer Banks Bluegrass Festival, Raleigh will be hosting plenty of bluegrass music during the International Bluegrass Music Association’s annual conference September 24-28.
