Mi-Corporation has continually shared its mobile data expertise gained in serving clients over the past 15 years -- as well as its intellectual leadership garnered through the development of 10 issued U.S. patents -- via participation in national industry events; webinars; and the company’s Mobility Summit.
The Summit provides Mi-Corporation with an opportunity to share best practices for transitioning and maximizing user adoption in moving to a paperless environment, while helping attendees understand the return on investment and learn about new technology and mobile devices. The event includes vendor exhibits, Mi-Corporation Team and live customer presentations, talks with thought-leaders from the mobility industry, interactive workshops and breakaway sessions for partners and customers.
As keynote speaker, Rizzo will be sharing his lengthy industry experience which includes leading TMC's enterprise and consumer mobility and wearable technology coverage; serving as Director of Mobile Research for the analyst firm 451 Research; and holding editorial leadership positions with Mobile Enterprise, Internet World, NetGuide, Network Computing Magazine, and Microsoft Systems Journal. Prior to moving into tech journalism, research and analysis, Tony served as the Assistant Director for Information Technology at New York University's School of Continuing and Business Education, delivering extensive computer technology training programs.
Other confirmed speakers include Doug Edwards, project technician with the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Office of Pesticide Services; Bryan Lesko, Windows Device TSP with Microsoft; T. Reid Lewis, senior VP of sales and marketing for Twocanoes Software and Labs; Jason McManus, VP of national sales for BIS; Steve Orell, co-founder of Proximity Insight; and Hakki Sahinkaya, software developer with Data Magik. Additional speakers will be added as they are confirmed.
Presentations will include mobility success stories; education sessions; expert consultations; panel discussions on issues like iBeacon and location-based services; and overseas perspectives, among others.
"There are multiple considerations in moving to a paperless environment aside from the technology itself, like ease of integration, audit reporting, lifecycle management and reimagining processes, all things we’ve experienced through our decade-and-a-half of serving customers in various industries,” Pandiyan explained. “What better way to share important details than by having our customers and partners share their stories & lessons themselves,” he added.
